State teachers' union admits Marxist platform points from assembly - The Lion

The Colorado Education Association reportedly passed a resolution against capitalism during their recent Delegate Assembly. Their resolution states: "THE CEA BELIEVES THAT CAPITALISM INHERENTLY EXPLOITS CHILDREN, PUBLIC SCHOOLS, LAND, LABOR, AND RESOURCES. CAPITALISM IS IN OPPOSITION TO FULLY ADDRESSING SYSTEMIC RACISM (THE SCHOOL TO PRISON PIPELINE), CLIMATE CHANGE, PATRIARCH (GENDER AND LGBTQ DISPARITIES), EDUCATION INEQUALITY AND INCOME INEQUALITY. In a state where only 40 some percent of students have met the proficiency levels for CMAS testing, the state’s largest union are demonstrating a complete detachment from reality by combating capitalism.
