School shootings have been committed in places like Parkland, Florida, and more recently at East High School in Denver by students with a long history of disciplinary issues. The student at East High had previously been expelled by another school. The student in Parkland, Florida had a long history of disciplinary problems that had been covered up by school district officials. Democrat politicians in Colorado are considering a bill that would increase the likelihood of another such event in Colorado, by creating barriers for districts trying to expel problem students.
